Brasil Pelo Meio Ambiente

ABOUT IT

Hadassah's project, "Leather Accessories, A New Story", transforms leather scraps into accessories for children, using leftover leather from the footwear industry. With the project, there is no need to dispose of this waste, because the industry donates the leather and buys the accessories produced. The company's project also aims to employ women who are unemployed in the footwear sector. The project has been awarded the seal of approval from the Kellogs Cepal Foundation for the best corporate social responsibility project in Brazil, which it received in Medellin, Colombia, at the social innovation fair.
