Ibema has worked with its waste managers to ensure that waste is not sent to landfills. The project has already covered the Embu das Artes (SP) and Turvo (PR) plants
Results and Objectives
The goal of sending 100% of the waste generated by the company to the appropriate treatment, without sending anything to landfills, was achieved. In 2023 Ibema achieved Zero Waste certification, based on the concept created by the Zero Waste International Alliance (ZWIA).
