ABOUT IT
The main objective of the project is to use clean, renewable energy in the operations of American Tower's fiber optic network, where it has two solar power generation parks - Frutal I and Frutal II - located in Frutal, Minas Gerais. The project thus meets 100% of the company's energy consumption.
Results and Objectives
- Promote the diversification of the company's energy sources in its businesses and operations towards clean energy (generated from low-impact renewable sources).
- Production of more than 4,000Mwh/year with 7,200 solar panels in total, thus meeting 100% of the energy consumption in the company's fiber optic unit.
