Renewable Energy - 90% reduction in CO2 emissions
ABOUT IT
The project implemented the use of 100% renewable energy to run the Belo Horizonte plant. There was no reduction in consumption, but rather the purchase of energy from the utility company was directed towards a renewable energy source, thus reducing CO² emissions from generation.
Results and Objectives
The project achieved a 93% reduction in CO² emissions, comparing total consumption in 2021 and accumulated consumption in 2023.
