Insertion of Electric Vehicles in Public Fleets, through the Conversion of Combustion Vehicles to Electric Traction
ABOUT IT
The project aims to convert public fleet combustion vehicles into electric traction vehicles. All the electrified vehicles have had their tests carried out in the laboratory with improved mechanical performance compared to the previous combustion engine, in addition to providing a 5-fold saving in energy expenditure, proving the energy efficiency of the transformation.
Results and Objectives
In total, four vehicles were converted as a test, two passenger cars (Kwid Electric and Kwid Hybrid) and two cargo vehicles (electric Fiorino and Strada). The company has over 600 vehicles in its fleet.
