HANDS FOR THE FUTURE - REVERSE LOGISTICS PROGRAM
ABOUT IT
Since 2006, the ABIHPEC project has been promoting reverse logistics actions through partnerships with cooperatives of recyclable material collectors. In this way, the project aims to manage post-consumer packaging and the traceability of these products, making it possible to properly dispose of this waste. Since 2017, the cooperatives have been registering and validating their receipts via the ABIHPEC platform. The project is ongoing.
Results and Objectives
- Track the proper disposal of post-consumption packaging.
- 6000 families impacted;
- 1 million tons of waste recovered and disposed of.
