Use of reusable cups and mugs
ABOUT IT
The project aimed to replace disposable plastic cups with mugs and cups made from durable materials at Siemens Healthineers. The initiative included a launch campaign to raise awareness among employees about the reduction of impacts with the adoption of the new cups and mugs as well as the importance of promoting circular economy.
Results and Objectives
Although the plastic cups are made of recyclable material, the project sought to support the transition from a linear to a circular economy. With the implementation, the annual disposal of 42,432 plastic cups was eliminated.
