ABOUT IT
The purpose of the project is to neutralize 100% of the emissions related to the shipping and transportation of waste, in partnership with the waste management supplier of all CNH Industrial plants, through the planting of seedlings.
The SGA FENIX/LWART measures CO2eq emissions generated by waste collection vehicles in real-time. The system also calculates the number of trees required to neutralize these emissions. The data is available full time on the CNH Industrial DASHBOARD for monitoring. In order to offset the emissions generated by the collection vehicles, the necessary seedlings are planted, with the issuance of a neutralization report, equipped with a QR CODE with the location of the planting area. The report also provides photographic evidence of planting and the seedlings are monitored and managed (fertilization, local . área, cleaning, etc.) for 2 years

Results and Objectives
Neutralization of 100% of emissions resulting from the shipping of waste in 2021 and in the 1st half of 2022.
A total of 1,504 individual tree were planted. All seedlings have a QR Code with their location and are monitored and managed for a period of 2 years; this activity neutralized 193,076 kg of CO².
Furthermore, we constantly search for licensed partners located near the plants. In this way, we reduce the generation of CO2 at source. The offsetting work for the 2nd half of 2022 has already started and we are convinced that we are contributing to a more prosperous world.
