ABOUT IT
The project aims to environmentally rehabilitate the former sulfur sludge storage area. in the unit of Cajati/SP. The sulfur residue, stored in an area of 10,000 m², he was fully reused and sold, in accordance with the principles of circular economy.
The methodology includes the creation of microenvironments, integrating geotechnical stability, environmental investigation e ecological restoration. Techniques such as the following were applied:
Use of topsoil to form depressions in the terrain;
Application of forest residues for creating shelters for wildlife;
Planting of 1,000 native seedlings produced in our own nursery, promoting floristic diversity e ecological suitability to the biome.
