In 2015, the Brazil Viracopos Airports started Environmental Restoration Project of 44.25 hectares at the Campininha Farm, located in the municipality of Mogi Guaçu/SP, in Mogi Guaçu Water Resources Management Unit (UGRHI 9). The TCRA It was completed in 2019, after approval from the environmental agency. CETESB. Currently, the Company maintains two environmental restoration projects underway.
Results and Objectives
In 2019, the Brazil Viracopos Airports concluded, with a favorable opinion from the environmental agency, the Environmental Restoration Project of 44.25 hectares at the Campininha Farm, in the municipality of Mogi Guaçu/SP, located in Mogi Guaçu Water Resources Management Unit (UGRHI 9).
Currently, the Company is carrying out environmental restoration of 4 hectares in ARIE Mata de Santa Genebra (José Pedro de Oliveira Foundation – FJPO), in Campinas/SP, and of 82.57 hectares in the vicinity of Água Vermelha Hydroelectric Power Plant (UHE AGV), located in the municipality of Paulo de Faria/SP.
The projects resulted in the creation of a balance called Green Bank, currently with 4.05 hectares, corresponding to the kidnapping of approximately:
964 tCO₂ in 20 years;
102 tCO₂ in 1 year.
