ABOUT IT
The project “"Almost Perfect"” It is an initiative of Leroy Merlin Brazil aimed at Valuing products with minor defects and to combating waste in retail. Initially implemented as pilot project at the Raposo Tavares store (São Paulo), the program lasted for nine months — of September 30, 2024 to June 30, 2025 — and its objective was to test the marketability of items with aesthetic, functional, or packaging imperfections, offering discounts of up to 70% in relation to the original price.
The proposal sought to reconcile economic and environmental benefits, expanding consumer access to more affordable products and, simultaneously, reducing the volume of waste generated by discarding materials that are still usable.

To offer affordable alternatives to the consumer., strengthening conscious consumption;
Analyze operational feasibility. for expanding the model to other stores in the chain;
Strengthening Leroy Merlin's ESG strategy, reinforcing the commitment to sustainability and efficient waste management.
