Brazil for the Environment

ABOUT IT

Sesc in Minas Gerais has a sustainability program that aims to mitigate the environmental impacts of its activities. Unused uniforms were sent for recycling and turned into social blankets, which were then donated to partner institutions that help homeless people. Approximately 500 kg of uniforms were transformed into 300 social blankets.

On the Sesc Minas website, an article was published detailing the action: https://sescmg.com.br/noticias/sistema-fecomercio-mg-por-meio-do-sesc-em-minas-transforma-meia-tonelada-de-uniformes-em-cobertores-para-pessoas-em-situacao-de-rua/
