ABOUT IT

O EcoBuzz Project, from the Bee2Be in partnership with TotalEnergies, The project aims to restore and protect Brazilian mangroves, promoting a positive socio-environmental impact. The initiative empowers local communities in beekeeping, installing beehives in the mangroves for pollination and the production of bee products.

 

The main expected results of the EcoBuzz Project include training of 10 beekeepers, each with an average annual income generated from beekeeping production. The project aims pollinate 15 hectares of mangroves, promoting the regeneration and health of the ecosystem. They will be 70 beehives were installed along the mangroves., increasing biodiversity and honey production. Furthermore, there will be continuous monitoring and reporting of impact indicators, such as mangrove health, biodiversity, and socioeconomic benefits for local communities. The project is expected to be completed within 12 months, with ongoing monitoring and evaluation to ensure the achievement of the expected results.

Results and Objectives

Environmental objectives include the regeneration of mangrove forests, the promotion of biodiversity, and the monitoring of environmental and social impacts.
