ABOUT IT

The Steam Generation Optimization It was developed at the Kenvue facility in São José dos Campos (SP), with the aim of increasing energy efficiency and reducing natural gas consumption and associated emissions.

Steam, essential for various manufacturing processes, is generated in boilers that use natural gas. Modernization included... installation of an energy saver, Replacing the condensate tank with a deaerator. e Replace the burner with a high-efficiency model featuring automatic control..

These improvements enabled the reuse of heat from combustion gases, o Preheating the boiler feedwater to 105ºC, a removal of corrosive gases and the more precise combustion control, resulting in lower energy consumption and reduced emissions.
