ABOUT IT

O Sustainable Turn It is an initiative of circular economy in abrasives, launched in 2021 by Saint-Gobain's Norton brand.

The project collects post-consumer abrasive products, such as cutting discs, grinding wheels, and sandpaper, with the aim of... to recover abrasive grains still adhering to the products. and reintroduce them into production processes, reducing the need for virgin raw materials and minimizing environmental impacts.

How it works:

  • Collectors installed in metropolitan regions of São Paulo and Campinas (SP);

  • Starting in 2025, collection of sandpaper scraps from customers;

  • Recovered abrasive grains are reused internally;
