Increased water cycles in cooling towers
ABOUT IT
The project increased the concentration cycles of the two cooling towers at Bayer's São José dos Campos-SP plant by using a new treatment program focused on the high concentration of silica in the water, reducing the consumption of water from underground wells to replenish the water in the tower.
Results and Objectives
The main result obtained was a reduction in the consumption of water from artesian wells for industrial use. The project was completed in April 2023.
