CPFL Soluções' Equipment Reformer is the CPFL Group's business line dedicated to promoting circular economy and waste management.
Through its activities, the company recovers equipment such as transformers and voltage regulators, enabling their reuse in energy distribution networks. Materials that cannot be reused are sent to recycling companies, adding value to the reverse logistics stage. These actions reduce the need to acquire new equipment and reduce the company's carbon footprint. In 2021, Reformadora de Equipamentos increased its scope of operations and began to serve other companies in addition to the CPFL Group.

Results and Objectives
In 2021, Reformadora de Equipamentos increased o its scope of operations and began to serve other distributors in addition to subsidiaries of CPFL Energia. As a result, production capacity was expanded in order to assess 1,290 pieces of equipment per month. Approximately 60% of this total was reused by the distributors, generating annual savings of around BRL 8 million. The project's production capacity is expected to expand,encompassing equipment from other CPFL Group businesses. There is no deadline for completing the project.
