ABOUT IT
The Blue Macaw Project, created by biologist Neiva Guedes in 1989, aims to promote the conservation of blue macaws and the Pantanal's biodiversity. One of the institute's activities is the manufacture of artificial wooden nests, which serve as shelter for the Hyacinth Macaws and various other birds during breeding periods, since the natural shelters have been deforested as a result of the fires in the Pantanal. With this, we supported the institute by supplying various tools from our portfolio that improve and optimize the manufacturing capacity of these nests, thus speeding up the availability of new shelters for the birds. Measuring instruments have also been donated to help the project monitor the birds.
The tools, measuring instruments and equipment have already been donated to the institute and are in use.
