ABOUT IT

The Avoided Deforestation Program is an alliance between the landowners and the Positivo environmental compensation company and the conservation of Araucaria biodiversity in the Uru Reserve. Once transformed into an RPPN, a category of fully protected Conservation Unit, its 128 hectares of Araucaria Forest are protected in perpetuity.
