ABOUT IT
The project carries out monitoring and analysis of meteorological and oceanographic data at the Port of Suape between 2016 and 2025, with future projections, to understand the impacts of climate change on port operations.
Main objectives:
Monitor water temperature and sea level
Identifying trends of significant increases within these parameters
Subsidize port planning and the adoption of structural and operational measures for adaptation to climate change
To guarantee continuity of port operations even in extreme or uncertain weather conditions
The study uses historical data and projection tools to anticipate future scenarios and plan adaptations to port facilities.
Results and Objectives
