ABOUT IT
The project consists of the development and commercialization of T6.180 Methane Power tractor, o World's first 100% tractor powered by biomethane., associated with the creation of Biomethane Ecosystem, a network of partners that enables:
Production, purification and logistics of biomethane;
Use of renewable fuel from agro-industrial waste;
Transformation of organic waste into biofertilizers.
The tractor replaces diesel with locally generated biomethane, promoting Circular economy, reduction of environmental liabilities and mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions..
Results and Objectives
Objectives
Reduce up to 84% of CO₂ emissions with regard to diesel tractors;
Consider up to 216% of CO₂ equivalent reduction by capturing fugitive methane;
Promote savings of up to R$ 5.00 per liter of diesel replaced;
Reduce up to 30% of operational costs by tractor;
Expand the Energy autonomy for rural producers;
Develop a new production chain in the biogas and biomethane sector;
Transforming organic waste into bioenergy and biofertilizers, promoting a circular economy.
