O Clean Energy project, developed by Sabin Group, focuses on transition to a more sustainable energy matrix, based on Renewable sources with low environmental impact. The initiative includes progressive replacement of energy from the captive market put clean energy, obtained through contracts in the Free Energy Market and from acquisition of photovoltaic energy and other renewable sources, like biomass, small hydroelectric power plants (SHPs) e wind energy.
Since 2019, The company performs the annual inventory of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and the emissions offset through the purchase of carbon credits of projects certified by United Nations (UN), receiving, since then, the Renewable Energy Certificate and the Certificate of Neutralization of Greenhouse Gas Emissions.
