ABOUT IT
Before 2020, all the water used in Fospar's production process came from underground wells and from water utility. To reduce the consumption of new water, a system was implemented. internal plant drainage water collection system for reuse.
Main actions:
Construction of a 4,300 m³ reservoir;
Installation of pumping sumps at strategic points within the unit;
Implementation of piping and associated infrastructure to redirect drainage water back into the production process;
Monitoring of reuse rate, ensuring operational efficiency.

Reduce to new water intake originating from wells and the concessionaire;
Maximize reuse of internal water in the plant;
Contribute to SDG 6 – Clean water and sanitation, reinforcing sustainability practices;
To minimize environmental impacts and pressure on local water resources.

Water reuse above 40% of the total used in the process;
Significant reduction in dependence on external water sources;
