ABOUT IT

O Cooperating with the Planet It is one of the arms of the project. Seeing the Global Meaning, ESG initiative of CCPR System focused on the environmental, social, and economic sustainability of cooperatives. The project concentrates actions related to climate agenda and to decarbonization of operations from the cooperative.

In 2025, a CCPR reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability by implementing again the Corporate Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Inventory, published in Public Registry of Emissions, guaranteeing the cooperative the Silver Seal from the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program (PBGHG), acknowledgment that certifies the complete execution of the inventory.

As a result, the cooperative began to 100%'s migration of its flex-fuel fleet to the use of ethanol., as a replacement for gasoline. CCPR vehicles were branded with the sticker. Cooperating with the Planet, a symbol of our commitment to sustainability with every refueling.

In parallel, CCPR is implementing assessment and measurement tools, such as... Cool Farm Tool and the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), which will allow to map the carbon footprint of the cooperative members' properties, generating indicators of efficiency, productivity and sustainability throughout the entire milk supply chain.

Results and Objectives

Objectives and Results

The project aims to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, optimize energy consumption e increase operational efficiency of CCPR's activities, promoting the diversification of energy sources and the use of clean fuels with low environmental impact.

Main objectives:

  • To map GHG emissions in the cooperative's operations and on the properties of its members.

  • Promote the migration of the corporate fleet to renewable fuels, replacing 100% of gasoline with ethanol.

  • Reduce total CO₂ equivalent emissions from the fleet by approximately 90%.

  • To contribute to the institutional goal of Seeing the Global Meaning, of Reduce 28% of corporate emissions by 2028., the year in which CCPR celebrates its 80th anniversary.

  • Reduce 5% of supply costs, with estimated savings of R$ 100 thousand.

  • Apply environmental management tools that enable the measurement of carbon footprint and the generation of sustainability indicators for cooperative members.

Expected results:

  • Direct reduction of CO₂ equivalent emissions from the corporate fleet.

  • Optimizing energy consumption and diversifying the fuel mix.

  • Improved operational efficiency and reduced logistics costs.

  • Strengthening the culture of sustainability and climate governance in cooperatives.

  • Provision of new environmental and productive indicators for cooperative properties.
