ABOUT IT
O Logistics Grade 10 It is an integral project of Seeing the Global Meaning, ESG initiative of CCPR focused on the sustainability and efficiency of operations. The program focuses on... fleet modernization and the logistics optimization milk transportation, with the aim of increasing operational efficiency, reduce environmental impact e optimize logistics costs from the cooperative.
The initiative arose from the need to reduce the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and the fossil fuel consumption, ensuring efficiency in the transportation and collection of milk from cooperative producers.
In addition to fleet renewal, the project involved... Optimization of collection and delivery routes., reducing the kilometers driven, increasing the density in liters per kilometer (L/Km) and improving the utilization of transport capacity. Each partner carrier began operating with regionalized logistics planning, defining the types of vehicles and strategies best suited to each route, aligning cost, efficiency and sustainability.
Results and Objectives
The main objective of the project is... to make CCPR's logistics more efficient and sustainable., reducing the environmental impact of operations and contributing to Corporate target of reducing emissions by 28% by 2028, according to the plan of Seeing the Global Meaning.
Main objectives:
Reduce the CO₂ emissions and other greenhouse gases originating from the transport fleet.
Reduce the fossil fuel consumption through the modernization of vehicles.
Optimize routes and increase the logistical efficiency (liters transported per kilometer).
Reduce operational costs and improve transportation productivity.
Aligning logistics operations with good environmental and governance practices of the CCPR System.
Results achieved:
Execution period: 2019 to 2024.
Annual emissions reduction: 55,000 tons of CO₂/year.
Cumulative reduction (2019–2024): 275,000 tons of CO₂.
Enhanced operational efficiency: Larger volume of milk collected with less distance traveled.
Improvement in density L/Km: Increased ratio between liters transported and kilometers traveled.
Complete fleet modernization milk collection using more economical and less polluting vehicles.
These results consolidate the Logistics Grade 10 as a strategic action that combines operational efficiency, emissions reduction and economic sustainability, strengthening CCPR's commitment to ESG agenda and the competitiveness of the milk production chain.
