ABOUT IT
The projects H2Minas and H2Rio, The projects, developed by H2Brazil in partnership with CEMIG, aim to decarbonize sectors with high energy consumption, such as the chemical and petrochemical, pharmaceutical, shipping, aviation, and agricultural industries.
In addition to reducing emissions, the projects promote food security, job and income generation throughout Brazil, as well as technology transfer and strengthened collaboration between Brazil and Europe.
The initiatives include the production of green hydrogen and ammonia, aviation biofuels (SAF), green methanol and biodiesel, using renewable energies (biomass, hydroelectric and solar) and organic waste gasification technology.
