Project description

The project implemented a integrated sanitary wastewater treatment system on the construction site, using:

  1. Anaerobic biodigester 10,000 liters for primary treatment;

  2. Subsurface horizontal constructed wetland with HDPE blanket for effluent polishing;

  3. Final destination through infiltration trenches dimensioned according to NBR 17076:2024.

System capacity:

  • He meets 200 people;

  • Flow rate 10 m³/day;

  • Organic load of 10,800 gBOD/d.

The treatment is carried out right on the construction site, eliminating the need for external transport and disposal.

  • Treating sanitary wastewater in a way sustainable and economical;
