ABOUT IT

O Re:Flow integrates waste management, social responsibility e circular economy, based on the principles of the 5Rs: Refuse, Rethink, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

Main initiatives:

  1. Green IT – Partnership with Lightera for copper cable recycling:

    • +27 t of cables recycled since 2021

    • Transforming recycled materials into "green checks" for investment in social initiatives.

    • Professional Training Course in Data Center Operation: 31 students benefited, 21 hired by Scala.

  2. Donations and reuse of materials:

    • Biometric access system valued at R$245 thousand donated to SENAI Jandira

    • Donation of Bidim (a type of plant fiber) to the Horta da Gente community garden in Barueri/SP, promoting community agriculture and the separation of recyclables.

  3. International expansionRe:Flow in Chile, Mexico, and Colombia, expanding regional impact and the range of materials treated.

  4. Recycling and recovery of waste:

    • Over 200 tons of recycled electronic and metal scrap.

    • Conversion of some recycled waste into seedling planting through a partnership with Instituto Refloresta (215 native seedlings already planted)

    • 109,500 tons of waste diverted from landfills

    • Over 98,000 kWh of energy saved.

    • Over 1,800 tons of copper ore saved.

    • Reduction of more than 107,786 tCO₂e since 2021

    • Professional training and job creation

    • Investment in social initiatives and local communities.

  • Economic:

    • Valorization of waste as inputs for new projects.

    • Reusing materials and creating a virtuous cycle of circular economy.
