O Recycle More It is one of the pillars of the project. Seeing the Global Meaning, ESG initiative of CCPR Focused on the efficient management of solid waste and the promotion of the circular economy. Created in 2019, The program focuses on... Separation, recycling, and proper disposal of recyclable and non-recyclable waste. in the industrial units in Contagem, Coromandel, Curvelo (MG) e Silvânia (GO).
The initiative seeks reduce environmental impacts, generate economic value e strengthen environmental awareness among collaborators. The resources obtained from the sale of recyclables are reinvested in Internal improvements and environmental education initiatives., aligned with National Solid Waste Policy (Law No. 12.305/2010).
The program maintains partnerships with cooperatives and social institutions, like Asmac, Recycle and the eureciclo certification company, which guarantee the 100% compensation for packaging of the manufacturing plants and the reduction of CO₂ emissions, reinforcing CCPR's commitment to sustainable waste management.
Results and Objectives
The main objective of the project is... reduce the environmental impact of CCPR's industrial units, promoting the Recycling, reuse, and proper disposal of solid waste., in addition to generating economic and social benefits for employees and partner communities.
Main objectives:
Implement proper separation and disposal of solid waste in industrial facilities.
To promote environmental education and awareness about responsible consumption and disposal.
Generate revenue from the sale of recyclable materials and reinvest in internal improvements.
Offset 100% of the packaging used in the manufacturing plants.
Reduce CO₂ emissions through recycling and waste recovery.
Results achieved (2024):
1,177,137 kg of solid waste properly disposed of..
971,880 kg of recyclable materials sold, reinvesting resources in internal initiatives and employee benefits.
256 tons of CO₂ avoided through the recycling of sacks and other materials.
100% of the plywood packaging (430 tons of plastic and 3.56 tons of paper).
More than R$ 59 thousand passed on Cooperatives and small and medium-sized enterprises involved in the recycling chain.
Partnerships with Asmac, Recycle e eurecycle, strengthening the recycling chain and social inclusion.
O Recycle More It operates continuously and annually, contributing to the reducing the carbon footprint, o compliance with environmental legislation and the promoting the circular economy within the CCPR units
