O Sustainable Connection Space It is an ongoing initiative of Viracopos International Airport, created to promote the proper disposal of recyclable and special waste, with the participation of employees, partners and visitors.
Installed in Hall of the Administrative Building, The space includes selective waste collection points intended for receiving Plastic bottle caps, aluminum can tabs, batteries, and electronic waste., contributing to the strengthening of reverse logistics and of reuse of materials.
In addition to the environmental aspect, the initiative also has a social dimension, allocating part of the collected materials to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) e charities, which utilize the resources obtained in community support campaigns and projects.
Results and Objectives

Among its specific objectives are:
Increase the volume of waste destined for recycling., focusing on materials such as metal, plastic and electronics;
Strengthen reverse logistics, supporting the reuse and environmentally sound disposal of waste;
To foster social and environmental partnerships. through the donation of collected materials to NGOs and charitable institutions;
Encourage employee engagement. in sustainable actions, promoting shared environmental responsibility;
Reduce environmental impact resulting from the improper disposal of waste that is difficult to degrade;

In last collection of plastic bottle caps, approximately 88 kg (0.088 tons), representing the amount of waste that was no longer sent to landfills, dams, or the environment;
Increase in the volume of recyclable materials collected., including plastic bottle caps, aluminum seals, batteries, and electronic waste;
Strengthening social and environmental partnerships, with support for animal protection NGOs e charities;
Increased employee participation in sustainability initiatives, contributing to the consolidation of the internal environmental culture;
