ABOUT IT
The company has developed a Sustainable Product Reference that guides the development of more sustainable products and the journey to bring sustainability attributes to products that are already part of the current portfolio. And so that customers can identify these products clearly and assertively, they are implementing the Eco Steck seal, applied to the packaging or the surface of specific products. Before meeting the criteria of one of the four dimensions of a sustainable product, suppliers of raw materials, packaging and finished products must meet one of the prerequisites relating to transparency - considering ethics and integrity - and responsible sourcing. Thus, constantly monitoring the Supply Chain in order to develop the companies that make up this cycle, reducing and mitigating risks in relation to issues such as environmental responsibility, climate change, human rights, social responsibility and decent work.
The product receives the Eco Steck label when it fits into one of the dimensions of the Benchmark: 1) Circularity; 2) Inputs (Sustainable Raw Materials); 3) Sustainable Packaging (especially with regard to eliminating single-use plastic); 4) Sustainable Lifestyle (reducing energy consumption and emissions).
