O Tauá Group Decarbonization Program its focus reduce and offset environmental impacts of its hotel operations, also promoting awareness and engagement of employees, suppliers, partners and guests.

The main initiatives include:

Emissions Inventory: Survey of Scope 1 and 2 emissions, in accordance with the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program.
CO₂ Calculator: A tool that allows guests to estimate their emissions during their stay, providing individualized calculations and offsetting suggestions.
Emissions offsetting: All emissions not voluntarily offset by guests are fully compensated by the Tauá Group.
Mitigation Plan: Technical study to identify opportunities for reducing and mitigating emissions in hotel operations, promoting continuous improvement.

The program is Implemented in all units of the Tauá Group., including: Caeté and Araxá (MG), Atibaia and Jarinu (SP), Alexânia (GO) and João Pessoa (PB, under construction), with the João Pessoa unit aiming to be the first Carbon Neutral resort in the Northeast.

Full compensation for non-neutralized emissions by guests. carried out by the Tauá Group.
Ongoing studies on emissions mitigation and operational improvements. implemented in the units.
neutral carbon unit target in João Pessoa (PB) until 2030.
