ABOUT IT

O Tonca Project – CPR Verde – Jardineira Farm, developed by Bionext, consists of a structured emissions of 8,908,700.51 tons of CO₂ equivalent, based on its own land and registered as Green Rural Product Certificate (Green CPR), according to Decree No. 10,828/2021.
The initiative has independent certification for the CO2 Forestry Eng. and Project. Amb. Ltd, with Paper and digital registration at B3 (IF code: 25D04410944) e Valid until 2070.

The project is located in municipality of Alto Parnaíba (MA), region of Matopiba, within the Cerrado biome, encompassing Garden Farms (registration numbers 3353 and 3371).
The planned scale includes 45 harvests of carbon credits, equivalent to approximately 200,000 tons of CO₂ equivalent per year.

Results and Objectives

Objectives 

Environmental:

  • Contribute to reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through the issuance of certified carbon credits.

  • To guarantee the environmental preservation and the conservation of the Cerrado biome, an area of high ecological and hydrological importance.

  • Ensure environmental integrity and legal certainty through external audits, technical certifications, and regularized georeferencing.

Economic:

  • Structuring a long-term green financial asset, with liquidity and transparency in the carbon market.

  • Attracting institutional investors and to promote Brazilian carbon credit market based on our own certified areas.

  • Consolidate the Bionext as national benchmark in large-scale issuance of Green CPRs.

Results

  • Total volume shipped: 8,908,700.51 tCO₂e, distributed in 45 harvests per year until 2070, with an average of 200 thousand tCO₂e per year.

  • Preservation of the Cerrado, with full preservation of native vegetation in the areas linked to the CPR (property registrations 3353 and 3371).

  • Independent certification from the Forest CO2, with audit and Active CAR for all registered areas.

  • Official registration with B3, ensuring transparency, traceability and regulatory compliance.

  • Recurring revenue generation with the trading of carbon credits.

  • Execution timeframe: 45 years (2025–2070), in continuous operation.
