
ABOUT IT
O COBAP Group project consists of Waste management and transformation of cardboard scraps into recycled packaging., operating primarily in the Northern and Northeastern states of Brazil. Through PACEL, are collected 29,000 tons of cardboard waste annually, processed in a press with a capacity of 25 t/h, the largest in Latin America.
The collected material is transformed into approximately 2,000 tons/month of recycled 100% packaging, serving various industrial sectors. The initiative integrates best practices of circular economy, contributing to the Reducing waste in landfills, conservation of natural resources e mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions.
The COBAP Group also operates in the area social, benefiting more than 400 direct jobs and approximately 2,000 families indirectly., through programs such Ecosom, Grow and support for Jacques Klein Music Institute.
