These initiatives are part of the pillar of... Operational Eco-efficiency, integrated into the strategy of Environmental Management of the company.

The actions are ongoing and focus on:

1. Governance:

   • Clear goals and performance indicators;

   • Monitoring by ESG Council;

   • Aligning actions with strategic environmental commitments.

2. Water Reuse:

   • Technologies such as reverse osmosis;

   • Reuse of waste from water treatment plants;

   • Donation of treated water for partners.

3. Eco-efficient equipment:

   • Replacement of the cooling system at the Itapevi Complex, eliminating water consumption in this process;

   • Implementation of adiabatic cooling towers, reducing water consumption by up to 70%;

4. Management and Monitoring:

   • Itapevi unit certified according to ISO 46001:2019, international standard for water efficiency management.
