With the aim of reducing or offsetting the Emtel Group's CO2 emissions, a token was created that is integrated with the company's business model. The crypto-asset is backed by trees, which are tokenized and generate carbon credits.
In this way, it is possible to generate dividends through carbon credits and the bioeconomy promoted. In addition to helping nature and having a profitable investment, promoting a social impact with the entire community involved in planting and caring for the forests.
In short, everything has to do with the sustainable future that a tree will create throughout its life, from carbon offsetting to sustaining other living beings - including humans.

Results and Objectives
The project made it possible to reforest an area of 50 hectares in Cana Verde, Minas Gerais, equivalent to 20,000 tons of CO2e.
The more than 100,000 trees planted are already being tokenized.
