Brazil for the Environment

ABOUT IT

The project aims to guarantee the supply of clean energy at competitive prices and enable decarbonization with certified energy through the construction of wind farms.

  1. The first wind farm, called "Anemus Wind", is located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, with an installed capacity of 139MW, enough to supply up to 1 million homes a year.
  2. The second wind farm, "Kairós Wind", will be located in Ceará, will start operating in 2023, will have an installed capacity of 261 MW and is at an advanced stage of financial structuring.

The company already has 5 social projects underway in the communities surrounding the two projects, which generate around 5,900 direct jobs.

All the projects are monitored by an external consultancy, which is made up of a team of professionals specialized in social projects. Every two weeks, the consultancy sends a report on the status of all the projects.

Results and Objectives

The two complexes will together generate 400MW of clean energy, where Anemus will supply up to 1 million homes a year.

The target is that the projects will prevent the emission of more than 25.7 million tons of CO2.
