ABOUT IT

The Zero Landfill Program aims to improve the company's method of treating organic waste, thus eliminating the use of landfills for this class of waste. 
 
To this end, since November 2019, the organic waste produced by Cummins in São Paulo, as well as prunings, has been destined for composting. 

 

The implementation of the project has been completed and it will continue to run. 

 

Results and Objectives

100% of organic waste has been sent for composting since the start of the project 

287.93 tons of waste have already been diverted from landfill to composting since the program began, with an annual average of approximately 110 tons/year.
